I’m so excited to make this year’s map bigger and better than ever! I’ve loved hearing about so many people putting up displays for the first time! Seeing lights is a perfect way to enjoy family, the Christmas holiday, and the community while also staying safe in the process! Super pumped to see new light displays up this year!!

MAP UPDATE: NEW MAP PIN COLOR ORANGE – “Submitted by community”
MAP GUIDE: On the map you’ll see pins that point to addresses of houses with nice Christmas lights. Those pins are colored either green (must see!), blue (very nice), or yellow (they have a minion!). As you’ll see on the left side of the map the pins are ordered into based on geography and how close they were to a house that I would consider a “must see”, or an anchor house on a trip. I did this so you can feel like you can leave the house, see a group of houses that includes a “must see” on the trip, and be finished within a reasonable amount of time if you have kids.
So you can look at the entire map, or you can eliminate groups of lights by deselecting the check box next to the group you don’t want to see.
Below the links are a full list of light display addresses with brief comments about each and a link directly to that address in Google Maps.

PR Road #44, Chesapeake, VA 23323 PR Road #44. Mobile home park, so GPS doesn’t go straight to home. Enter in PR Road and drive around the ring until you see #44. A decent display for a tiny space.

Priest Family Lights: 820 Sydenham Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322 Great music coordination to 107.3, lots of flashes and fun – look out for Santa in the window above the garage!
1337 Simon Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320 One of the best in the area! House on the water, so much around the entire front and side yards. Tastefully-done in coordination with the house design. If you drive around the other side of Simon Dr. you can see the back yard well-lit.

Prince George Estates Neighborhood, Virginia Beach, VA Not a bunch of “wow” houses, but a bunch of very nice displays that makes a brief drive through a good idea if you’re in the area, especially on the way to Christmas at Mansion Cross. Quite a few houses have lined their fences with lights and is visually appealing.

Courthouse Estates Neighborhood 23452 The first neighborhood on the right, Nansemond Loop is awesome! It’s like the entire neighborhood coordinated to wrap their trees with white lights.
