I LOVE LITTLE NECK! Little Neck is a neighborhood (or region of Virginia Beach) located in the northern part of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is a well-established and desirable neighborhood that is known for its beautiful tree-lined streets and spacious lots.
Little Neck is primarily a residential area, with a mix of single-family homes and townhouses. The homes in the area are typically larger and more luxurious, with spacious yards and mature trees. The streets are quiet and well-maintained, making it a safe and desirable place to live.
One of the standout features of Little Neck is its close proximity to the water. The neighborhood is located on a peninsula that juts out into the Lynnhaven River, providing residents with easy access to the water for boating and fishing. There are a lot of houses on the water – those are often some of the largest and/or most expensive in Little Neck
There are several parks and recreational facilities in the area, including Little Neck Park and Little Neck Swim & Racquet Club. There are also several shopping centers and grocery stores nearby, providing residents with convenient access to daily necessities. The problem with being in Little Neck from a shopping standpoint is that it’s a little bit of a drive out of Little Neck to get to most of the surrounding shopping – it’s almost as if you’re living in a large cul-de-sac. The good part about that is that usually only people who have a primary intent to drive into most of Little Neck actually drive through Little Neck, so you’ll find that the traffic in Little Neck isn’t very high, especially as you get deeper and deeper into it.
